Please note that I use a Blendtec Blender for my smoothies and soups. It is a 3 Horsepower blender and very powerful. It breaks down the fruits and veggies to a liquid form, making them extremely easy to assimilate by your body. The Vitamix is another high powered blender that would be an option for you.  For anyone looking to supercharge their health with fast and easy raw foods, a 3 HP blender is an absolute MUST for your kitchen!

Reason to Drink: 1. Pineapple - contains Bromelain (natural anti-inflammatory and digests excess protein). Helps to alkalize the body. 2. Avocado - very alkalizing and helps to balance the acid/alkaline ratio in your body 3. Cucumber - a natural diuretic and anti-inflammatory, contains silica, a trace mineral that strengthens connective tissue 4. Cilantro - removes heavy metals (mercury) out of the body

Ingredients
  • 1 ring pineapple at least 1" thick with the core
  • 1/2 fresh avocado
  • 1/2 organic raw cucumber
  • 1 sprig cilantro you won't even taste it
  • 10 oz. filtered water or unsweetened apple juice

Recipe Notes

You can add any fresh, organic green leafy vegetable - get creative:

  • fresh spring greens
  • romaine lettuce
  • arugula
  • kale (stay away from iceberg lettuce as it's been genetically modified and does not metabolize well).
