Hi Everybody,
Have you bought your Castor Oil yet? I really want to hear some of your results after using it for a week or so. Sometimes it takes a couple weeks to really feel the difference but for most people, there is noticeable relief within a few days.
In trying not to overwhelm you guys with too much information at once, I have broken down Part Three into a couple of posts. Today, I’m going to talk about another wonderful topical pain reliever Magnesium Oil. I know that a few of you have heard about it, my clients especially! But for those of you that are not familiar with its benefits, this oil can be a huge boost to your overall health and well-being, not to mention, ease your aching body parts! Before we get into the pain relief aspect, let’s just chat a little about this amazing mineral and what it means to your health.
In the book ‘The Magnesium Miracle’, Dr. Caroline Dean links low Magnesium levels to Heart Disease, Obesity, PMS, Parkinson’s, Insomnia, Depression, Fibromyalgia, Diabetes, Kidney Stones and much more. At the time that I read the book, I was already aware of quite a few of the benefits and gotten some great results with my clients and my own pain issues, but I had no idea how broad the scope of it’s benefits are. I also was not aware of how deficient most American’s are when it comes to this vital mineral. Magnesium comes in several forms and can be taken internally by pills, powders and liquids. I prefer the topical version Magnesium Oil. It is, by far, the most absorbable. The other formula’s must pass thru the digestive tract and lose some of the potency; not to mention, will cause some sensitive people to have um let’s just say unpleasant reactions. The Magnesium that is not absorbed into the body hits the bowels and BAM!get to the bathroom fast! For people with sleep issues, pain and constipation, I usually recommend they get a product called ‘Calm’. It’s a powdered form of Magnesium Citrate. It comes in different flavors and you drink it like a warm cup of tea. It is very soothing and literally ‘calms’ the body down; helps you sleep better and with less pain. In the morning the bowels move easily. Nothing like a good night’s sleep and a good poop in the morning! Gee, I really never thought I would hear myself say that but you gotta admit it’s true!!!
Okay, back to why I recommend Magnesium Oil to most people. Like I mentioned before, it’s the most absorbable. It does not cause any bowel distress and you can put it right on places that hurt, just like the Castor Oil.
Bonus Tip
Put it on the bottoms of your feet at night before going to bed and you will sleep ever so much better! Putting anything on the bottom of your feet is a direct pathway into affecting your nervous system. Think about how Foot Reflexology works. I will usually put Lavender Essential Oil on certain points on the feet for stress or headache relief. Works like a charm!
To my knowledge, you can only find Magnesium Oil at certain health food stores, but the easiest way to get it is to order it from www.magnesoothe.com. They have, in my opinion, the best magnesium products out there and they also run specials from time to time so you can save some money. Poke around the website and read some of the testimonials. I have tried almost all of their products and use them everyday with my clients. My two favorite products are the Magnesoothe Oil and the Magnecharge Spray.
Okay then, I think I’m going to do one more post on Drug Free Pain Relief and then we’re going to talk a little about preparing your Immune System for winter and NO that does not mean getting a flu shot! There are sooooo many other better ways to keep yourself healthy during flu and cold season. But I’m getting ahead of myself here.
Hope you all have a wonderful week! Stay warm, get plenty of sleep and don’t forget to take a little time for yourself. I always tell my clients, You can’t give what you don’t have, and if you’re not taking care of yourself, it lessens your ability to be present with, and enjoy the people you love.
Yours In Health,
Renee
